Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is set to open on March 5, 2010.  New images have been released.

USA Today reported on Tuesday the storyline begins

with Alice as a 17-year-old who discovers that she is about to be proposed to in front of a collection of “snooty society types.” So she runs off, follows a white rabbit into a hole and encounters Wonderland.

The cast is full of Burton’s favorite actors, including Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Christopher Lee as The Jabberwock and Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen.
